Yesterday I walked just over 29km to Mansilla Mayor, about 1 km off track just after Mansilla de las Mulas. On the way, I stopped for lunch at Reliegos, 8km before. I was eating these massive chicken legs with chips and salad and I had 3 kittens trying to get on my table.
I stopped at a nice guest house where I am staying. Later yesterday evening I had a fancy burger and chips at a nearby restaurant bar. There was an accordion and guitar player when I arrived.
Mansilla Mayor is on a detour route that takes you to see a monastery. I think I will skip this and rejoin the main route, it may rain a bit today.
Today I travel on to the city of León.
