Yesterday day at Villamayor de Monjardín, I had got to know a British guy who lives in Cuba, Damian and also I met Rod from Florida again. Rod, I first met all the way back in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port at my hostel on the first night.
Today was a 19km stretch from Villamayor de Monjardín to Sansol. The first 12km had zero villages or towns to pass through. I stopped at Los Arcos, the town that ended this 12km path.
Breakfast at a café there, had my first coffee of the day with a tortilla. Met Damien there, then Rod showed up. It became breakfast brandy time 😁
