Today was definitely an easier ride. After a basic breakfast at the Albergue, I set off at 7.30 and walked 21km without stopping. Got to Zubiri 4 ½ hours later.
The private Albergue I am at has 12 beds. I’m in a room of 2 bunk beds. It’s a beautiful place next to a river which forms a loud background sound with the window open.
The only downside is that I am sharing a room with a group of 3 guys with next to no European language skills, one of which is coughing like he is dying of Covid and there is an unpleasant smell in the room and another keeps closing the window when I open it.
